INTERWOVEN brings together acclaimed artists, scientists, and astronauts around the questions shaping our future — from the deep ocean to deep space.
INTERWOVEN is an international arts and science initiative that curates, produces, and presents exhibitions, festivals, and education programs in partnership with cultural institutions, research centers, and schools worldwide.
We commission artists to work directly with scientists, astronauts, and researchers - and we bring students into that same room, not as an audience but as participants. Their work is exhibited alongside the professionals who inspired it. We do this because the challenges facing our oceans, our climate, and our future need more people who can imagine solutions, and because art reaches people that data alone does not.
Telling Stories Across Cultures
Art and science have always been how we make sense of the world and each other - we bring them together to connect communities across borders and remind us how much we share.
Promoting Sustainable Practice
From the ocean floor to orbit, we explore the systems that sustain us - and inspire the commitment to protect them.
Celebrating Human Creativity
Every act of making, whether by hand or by machine, is an act of imagination. We explore where craft, science, and technology meet.
Fostering Responsible Leadership
The choices we make now shape the future beyond our own lifetimes. We ask how humanity leads with responsibility, on Earth and beyond.
