INTERWOVEN brings together acclaimed artists, scientists, and astronauts to explore sustainability, ocean and space exploration, innovation, and cultural storytelling. Working with international collaborators, we use art as a universal language to co-create work that inspires wonder, celebrates heritage, and deepens our commitment to the planet.
Through INTERWOVEN YOUTH, students create original work side by side with these professionals, in response to the same questions — turning the biggest questions about our planet and our future into art people can see, feel, and act on.
Interwoven is guided by four core pillars, bridging the gap between art and science to connect communities across borders and protect our planet.
Global storytelling through the arts and shared humanity
Art and science have always been how we make sense of the world and each other - we bring them together to connect communities across borders and remind us how much we share.
Embodying the sustainability practices needed for the future
From the ocean floor to orbit, we explore the systems that sustain us - and inspire the commitment to protect them.
Celebrating human creation from handcraft to AI
Every act of making, whether by hand or by machine, is an act of imagination. We explore where craft, science, and technology meet.
Guided by responsible and ethical leadership
The choices we make now shape the future beyond our own lifetimes. We ask how humanity leads with responsibility, on Earth and beyond.
